When deciding on where to shop, I always opt for either Ghent or Antwerp. Needless to say, any new addition to the present shops is more than welcome, especially when their offer is rather remarkable. New (web)shop Fin du Jour in Ghent is no exception here. Situated in a neighbourhood that is hip and happening, it will be one of my must-visit spots whenever I visit Ghent.
Think Aesop, Ellis Faas and Perricone MD, next to an abundance of brands that were only available abroad up until now. Also present: the Hair Care line of celeb fave David Mallett who has worked his magic on Natalie Portman for the Miss Dior campaigns she starred in.
The brains behind the shop is Miriam Rouw, a former lawyer, who pursued her dream after a couple of years in court. I visited the shop a couple of weeks ago and she established the most beautiful shop: the interior featuring copper and wood details is to die for. I’m sure I will have collected multiple Fin du Jour bags by this time next year.
